False Conviction: Innocence, Guilt and Science

I produced this interactive iBook for Touch Press working in collaboration with the Innocence Project and NYSCI. The book is written by Pulitzer prize winning journalist Jim Dwyer and focusses on real cases in which eyewitness accounts, confessions and crime lab tests led to false convictions, and where DNA evidence helped exonerate the innocent. It includes interactive experiences where you can examine DNA in blood, hair and semen, match a bullet to the gun that fired it, explore crime scene photos, and more.

As producer I devised and authored the interactive elements, which were implemented as embedded HTML5/javascript widgets, created and edited video content, and oversaw the overall design and development of the project.

You can buy the book on the iBook store
