Sam Woolf is a film maker and interactive developer with many years experience of video production and interactive media development. His core skills are video post production and programming – currently mostly using Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Xcode/Swift.
Sam started his career working in the Visual Effects industry (The Moving Picture Company, Cinesite) where he worked on feature films such as Harry Potter, V for Vendetta, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
He then went on to work for Windfall Digital as a cross-platform producer where he created science documentary films, interactive websites and science-centre interactive exhibits.
As a freelancer for companies such as Touch Press and Newangle and RGB he has produced and developed interactive iOS apps, iBooks and HTML5 based touchscreen interactives.
With a PhD from the University of Sussex in Interactive Media Production and an MA in Computer Animation, he has a broad and deep skillset that encompasses both the technical and the creative. He is an accomplished video editor, animator and interactive programmer, and is able to utilize these skills to tell stories in an exciting and dynamic way across multiple platforms.
